NLCS Music Festival 2025

A Celebration of Global Talent and Musical Excellence

Our first ever international NLCS Music Festival brought together talented students from our NLCS family of schools around the world for an unforgettable celebration of music, creativity, and collaboration. Hosted at NLCS (Singapore), the event showcased the power of music to unite, inspire young minds, and create lasting memories.

A Global Family United Through Music

The festival saw students from NLCS (UK), NLCS Dubai, NLCS Jeju, and NLCS (Singapore) come together under one roof, embracing the shared ethos of excellence, curiosity, and creativity. Over four days, they immersed themselves in a dynamic musical experience that transcended cultural boundaries and fostered friendships across continents.

Students had the unique opportunity to collaborate across orchestras, choirs, and ensembles, learning from one another and creating harmonious connections. The festival embodied the spirit of the NLCS international family, demonstrating that while the schools may be spread across the world, they are united by a common passion for education and the arts.

The NLCS Music Festival offered a diverse programme of events designed to inspire and challenge young musicians. Highlights included:

Masterclasses and workshops led by industry professionals, including composer David Lancaster and musical theatre talents Noel Sullivan and James Bennett from LIPA.

Rehearsals and ensemble sessions where students worked on a wide range of musical pieces, from orchestral compositions to choral medleys.

Evening entertainment featuring a live DJ set and an electrifying performance by Singaporean band BRB, giving students the chance to relax, connect, and celebrate together.

The Grand Finale Concert on Sunday, which showcased the students’ hard work and talent in a breathtaking performance, leaving audiences inspired and applauding for more.

A Testimony to Dedication and Talent

From the first rehearsal to the final bow, the festival highlighted the dedication, passion, and teamwork of every student involved. Their hard work and enthusiasm were evident in each note played and every harmony sung, showcasing the remarkable talent nurtured within our school group.
